Help Us Bring Thanksgiving to 2,200 South County Families

Every week, hundreds of local families turn to the South County Community Services Community Food Program for nutritious groceries and essential support. This Thanksgiving, we want to make sure these families can also enjoy a special holiday meal.

SCCS has set an ambitious goal of providing 2,200 turkeys to families throughout South County—and we need our community’s help to make it possible.

A donation of $25 will allow SCCS to purchase one turkey for a local family. Because we need such a large quantity and have limited freezer and storage space, financial donations will enable us to purchase the turkeys in bulk and arrange for delivery on our Thanksgiving distribution day.

Reaching our goal will be a tremendous undertaking, but with the generosity of our donors, partners, and community members, we believe we can make Thanksgiving brighter for thousands of our neighbors.

In addition to turkeys, we are seeking donations of traditional Thanksgiving side dishes, including:

• Stuffing

• Cranberry sauce

• Canned yams

Every contribution makes a difference. Whether you sponsor one turkey, provide side dishes, make a larger donation, or share this campaign with others, you are helping a South County family gather around the table for a meaningful Thanksgiving meal.
